"Thus they shall eatthose things by whichatonementwas madeat their ordination[and] consecration;but a laymanshall not eat[them], becausethey are holy.
The afflictedwill eatand be satisfied;Those who seekHim will praisethe LORD.Let your heartliveforever!
"Aaronand his sonsshall eatthe fleshof the ramand the breadthat is in the basket,at the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
He shall layhis handon the headof the burntoffering,that it may be acceptedfor him to makeatonementon his behalf.
Then Mosesspoketo Aaron,and to his survivingsons,Eleazarand Ithamar,"Takethe grain offeringthat is leftoverfrom the LORD'Sofferingsby fireand eatit unleavenedbesidethe altar,for it is mostholy.
"So when the tabernacleis to setout, the Levitesshall takeit down;and when the tabernacleencamps,the Levitesshall setit up. But the laymanwho comesnearshall be putto death.
as a reminderto the sonsof Israelthat nolaymanwhois not of the descendantsof Aaronshould comenearto burnincensebeforethe LORD;so that he will not becomelike Korahand his company--justas the LORDhad spokento him throughMoses.
and he spoketo Korahand allhis company,saying,"Tomorrowmorningthe LORDwill showwhois His, and who is holy,and will bring[him] nearto Himself; even the one whomHe will choose,He will bringnearto Himself.
"They shall be joinedwith you and attendto the obligationsof the tentof meeting,for allthe serviceof the tent;but an outsidermay not comenearyou.
"But you and your sonswith you shall attendto your priesthoodfor everythingconcerningthe altarand insidethe veil,and you are to performservice.I am givingyou the priesthoodas a bestowedservice,but the outsiderwho comesnearshall be putto death."
"So you shall appointAaronand his sonsthat they may keeptheir priesthood,but the laymanwho comesnearshall be putto death."
Now those who were to campbeforethe tabernacleeastward,beforethe tentof meetingtoward the sunrise,are Mosesand Aaronand his sons,performingthe dutiesof the sanctuaryfor the obligationof the sonsof Israel;but the laymancomingnearwas to be putto death.
and when He had given thanks,He brokeit and said,"Thisis My body,which is for you; dothisin remembranceof Me."
For as oftenas you eatthisbreadand drinkthe cup,you proclaimthe Lord'sdeathuntilHe comes.
