Then Moseswentup to the mountain,and the cloudcoveredthe mountain.
ThenSolomonsaid,"The LORDhas saidthat He would dwellin the thickcloud.
So it cameabout on the thirdday,when it was morning,that there were thunderand lightningflashesand a thickcloudupon the mountainand a veryloudtrumpetsound,so that allthe peoplewho[were] in the camptrembled.
The LORDcamedownon MountSinai,to the topof the mountain;and the LORDcalledMosesto the topof the mountain,and Moseswentup.
The LORDsaidto Moses,"Behold,I will cometo you in a thickcloud,sothat the peoplemay hearwhen I speakwith you and may alsobelievein you forever."Then Mosestoldthe wordsof the peopleto the LORD.
The gloryof the LORDrestedon MountSinai,and the cloudcoveredit for sixdays;and on the seventhdayHe calledto Mosesfrom the midstof the cloud.
While he was stillspeaking,a brightcloudovershadowedthem, and behold,a voiceout of the cloudsaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,with whomI am well-pleased;listento Him!"
