You shall keepit untilthe fourteenthdayof the samemonth,then the wholeassemblyof the congregationof Israelis to killit at twilight.
Then Josiahcelebratedthe Passoverto the LORDin Jerusalem,and they slaughteredthe Passover[animals] on the fourteenth[day] of the firstmonth.
The exilesobservedthe Passoveron the fourteenthof the firstmonth.
Now thisdaywill be a memorialto you, and you shall celebrateit [as] a feastto the LORD;throughout your generationsyou are to celebrateit [as] a permanentordinance.
You shall also observethe [Feast of] UnleavenedBread,for on thisverydayI broughtyour hostsout of the landof Egypt;therefore you shall observethisdaythroughout your generationsas a permanentordinance.
In the first[month], on the fourteenthdayof the monthat evening,you shall eatunleavenedbread,untilthe twenty-firstdayof the monthat evening.
"Allthe congregationof Israelare to celebratethis.
Then they setout from Elim,and allthe congregationof the sonsof Israelcameto the wildernessof Sin,whichis betweenElimand Sinai,on the fifteenthdayof the secondmonthafter their departurefrom the landof Egypt.
"I have heardthe grumblingsof the sonsof Israel;speakto them, saying,At twilightyou shall eatmeat,and in the morningyou shall be filledwith bread;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God.'"
In the thirdmonthafter the sonsof Israelhad goneout of the landof Egypt,on that very daythey cameinto the wildernessof Sinai.
"The onelambyou shall offerin the morningand the otherlambyou shall offerat twilight;
"The otherlambyou shall offerat twilight,and shall offerwith it the same grain offeringand the same drinkofferingas in the morning,for a soothingaroma,an offeringby fireto the LORD.
Allof us like sheephave goneastray,Eachof us has turnedto his own way;But the LORDhas caused the iniquityof us allTo fallon Him.
"In the first[month], on the fourteenthdayof the month,you shall havethe Passover,a feastof sevendays;unleavenedbreadshall be eaten.
In the firstmonth,on the fourteenthday of the monthat twilightis the LORD'SPassover.
Then on the fourteenthdayof the firstmonthshall be the LORD'SPassover.
On the firstday[shall be] a holyconvocation;you shall donolaboriouswork.
In the secondmonthon the fourteenthdayat twilight,they shall observeit; they shall eatit with unleavenedbreadand bitterherbs.
But the chief priestsand the elderspersuadedthe crowdsto askfor Barabbasand to putJesusto death.
And allthe peoplesaid,"His bloodshall be on us and on our children!"
Earlyin the morningthe chief priestswith the eldersand scribesand the wholeCouncil,immediatelyhelda consultation;and bindingJesus,they led Him awayand deliveredHim to Pilate.
But the chief priestsstirredup the crowd[to ask] him to releaseBarabbasfor them instead.
It was the thirdhourwhenthey crucifiedHim.
The crowdwentup and beganaskinghim [to] [do] as he had been accustomed to dofor them.
Thenthe wholebodyof them gotup and broughtHim beforePilate.
But they criedout all together,saying,"Awaywith this man,and releasefor us Barabbas!"
this[Man], deliveredover by the predeterminedplanand foreknowledgeof God,you nailed to a crossby the handsof godless menand put [Him] to death.
"But you disownedthe Holyand Righteous Oneand askedfor a murdererto be grantedto you,
"For trulyin thiscitythere were gathered togetheragainstYour holyservantJesus,whomYou anointed,bothHerodand PontiusPilate,alongwith the Gentilesand the peoplesof Israel,
While the sonsof Israelcampedat Gilgalthey observedthe Passoveron the eveningof the fourteenthdayof the monthon the desertplainsof Jericho.
