The Egyptiansurgedthe people,to sendthem out of the landin haste,for they said,"We will allbe dead."
But Godcameto Abimelechin a dreamof the night,and saidto him, "Behold,you are a deadman becauseof the womanwhomyou have taken,for she is married."
Egyptwas gladwhen they departed,For the dreadof them had fallenupon them.
Pharaoh'sservantssaidto him, "Howlongwill thisman be a snareto us? Letthe mengo,that they may servethe LORDtheir God.Do you not realizethat Egyptis destroyed?"
Now the LORDsaidto Moses,"OnemoreplagueI will bringon Pharaohand on Egypt;afterthat he will letyou gofrom here.When he letsyou go,he will surelydriveyou out from herecompletely.
They bakedthe doughwhichthey had broughtout of Egyptinto cakesof unleavenedbread.For it had not becomeleavened,sincethey were drivenout of Egyptand couldnot delay,norhad they preparedanyprovisionsfor themselves.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Nowyou shall seewhatI will doto Pharaoh;for under compulsionhe will letthem go,and under compulsionhe will drivethem out of his land."
But you will not goout in haste,Norwill you goas fugitives;For the LORDwill gobeforeyou, And the Godof Israel[will be] your rearguard.
For thisreason,becausethe king'scommand[was] urgentand the furnacehad been madeextremelyhot,the flameof the fireslewthosemenwhocarriedup Shadrach,Meshachand Abed-nego.
