The LORDsaysto my Lord:"Sitat My righthandUntilI makeYour enemiesa footstoolfor Your feet."
You will treadupon the lionand cobra,The younglionand the serpentyou will trampledown.
"I alsosayto you that you are Peter,and upon thisrockI will buildMy church;and the gatesof Hadeswill not overpowerit.
"Be on guardfor yourselvesand for allthe flock,amongwhichthe HolySpirithas madeyou overseers,to shepherdthe churchof GodwhichHe purchasedwith His ownblood.
But I wantyou to understandthat Christis the headof everyman,and the manis the headof a woman,and Godis the headof Christ.
to Him [be] the gloryin the churchand in ChristJesusto allgenerationsforeverand ever.Amen.
For the husbandis the headof the wife,as Christalsois the headof the church,He Himself[being] the Saviorof the body.
He is alsoheadof the body,the church;and He is the beginning,the firstbornfrom the dead,sothat He Himselfwill cometo have first placein everything.
and he alsoinformedus of your lovein the Spirit.
and in Him you have beenmade complete,and He is the headover allruleand authority;
and not holding fastto the head,from whomthe entirebody,being suppliedand held togetherby the jointsand ligaments,growswith a growthwhich is from God.
but in caseI am delayed,[I write] sothat you will knowhowone oughtto conducthimself in the householdof God,whichis the churchof the livingGod,the pillarand supportof the truth.
YOU HAVE PUTALLTHINGSIN SUBJECTIONUNDERHIS FEET."For in subjectingall thingsto him, He leftnothingthat is not subjectto him. But nowwe do not yetseeall thingssubjectedto him.
