There is an appointedtimefor everything.And there is a timefor everyeventunderheaven--
Then he saidto him, "Did not my heartgo[with you], whenthe manturnedfrom his chariotto meetyou? Is it a timeto receivemoneyand to receiveclothesand olivegrovesand vineyardsand sheepand oxenand maleand femaleservants?
When he was in distress,he entreatedthe LORDhis Godand humbledhimself greatlybeforethe Godof his fathers.
A manhas joyin an aptanswer,And howdelightfulis a timelyword!
Prepareyour workoutsideAnd makeit readyfor yourself in the field;Afterwards,then, buildyour house.
And I setmy mindto seekand exploreby wisdomconcerningallthat has been doneunderheaven.[It] is a grievoustask[which] Godhas givento the sonsof mento be afflictedwith.
So I hatedlife,for the workwhichhad been doneunderthe sunwas grievousto me; becauseeverythingis futilityand strivingafter wind.
I exploredwith my mind[how] to stimulatemy bodywith winewhile my mindwas guiding[me] wisely,and how to takeholdof folly,untilI could seewhatgoodthere is for the sonsof mento dounderheaventhe fewyearsof their lives.
I saidto myself,"Godwill judgeboth the righteousmanand the wickedman,"for a timefor everymatterand for everydeedis there.
In the dayof prosperitybe happy,But in the dayof adversityconsider--Godhas madethe oneas wellas the otherSothat manwill not discoveranything[that will be] afterhim.
"They criedthere,'Pharaohkingof Egypt[is] [but] a bignoise;He has let the appointedtimepassby!'
"And in the morning,'[There will be] a stormtoday,for the skyis redand threatening.'Do you know howto discernthe appearanceof the sky,but cannot[discern] the signsof the times?
