then goto the kingand speakto him in thismanner."So Joabputthe wordsin her mouth.
Thiswill be writtenfor the generationto come,That a peopleyet to be createdmay praisethe LORD.
"You are to speakto him and putthe wordsin his mouth;and I, even I, will be with your mouthand his mouth,and I will teachyou whatyou are to do.
"I have putMy wordsin your mouthand have coveredyou with the shadowof My hand,to establishthe heavens,to foundthe earth,and to sayto Zion,'You are My people.'"
"As for Me, thisis My covenantwith them," saysthe LORD:"My Spiritwhichis upon you, and My wordswhichI have putin your mouthshall not departfrom your mouth,norfrom the mouthof your offspring,norfrom the mouthof your offspring'soffspring,"saysthe LORD,"from nowand forever."
Then the LORDstretchedout His handand touchedmy mouth,and the LORDsaidto me, "Behold,I have putMy wordsin your mouth.
"As for them, whetherthey listenornot-- for they are a rebellioushouse--they will knowthat a prophethas beenamongthem.
and you will evenbe broughtbeforegovernorsand kingsfor My sake,as a testimonyto them and to the Gentiles.
"He who rejectsMe and does not receiveMy sayings,hasone who judgeshim; the wordI spokeis whatwill judgehim at the lastday.
"You shall teachthem to your sons,talkingof them when you sitin your houseand when you walkalong the roadand when you liedownand when you riseup.
"But I will surelyhideMy facein that daybecauseof allthe evilwhichthey will do,for they will turnto othergods.
"Takethisbookof the lawand placeit besidethe arkof the covenantof the LORDyour God,that it may remainthereas a witnessagainst you.
Then Mosesspokein the hearingof allthe assemblyof Israelthe wordsof thissong,untilthey were complete:
"Giveear,O heavens,and let me speak;And let the earthhearthe wordsof my mouth.
You shall teachthem diligentlyto your sonsand shall talkof them when you sitin your houseand when you walkby the wayand when you liedownand when you riseup.
Joshuasaidto allthe people,"Behold,thisstoneshall be for a witnessagainst us, for it has heardallthe wordsof the LORDwhichHe spoketo us; thus it shall be for a witnessagainst you, sothat you do not denyyour God."
