AllJudahwas standingbeforethe LORD,with their infants,their wivesand their children.
Then Jehoiadamadea covenantbetweenhimself and allthe peopleand the king,that they would be the LORD'Speople.
Now the restof the people,the priests,the Levites,the gatekeepers,the singers,the templeservantsand allthose who had separatedthemselves from the peoplesof the landsto the lawof God,their wives,their sonsand their daughters,allthose who hadknowledgeand understanding,
Then Ezrathe priestbroughtthe lawbeforethe assemblyof men,womenand allwho [could] listenwith understanding,on the firstdayof the seventhmonth.
"Now because of allthisWe are makingan agreementin writing;And on the sealeddocument [are the names of] our leaders,our Levites[and] our priests."
your littleones,your wives,and the alienwhois withinyour camps,from the one who chopsyour woodto the one who drawsyour water,
"So keepthe wordsof thiscovenantto dothem, that you may prosperin allthat you do.
"[Remember] the dayyou stoodbeforethe LORDyour Godat Horeb,when the LORDsaidto me, 'Assemblethe peopleto Me, that I may let them hearMy wordssothey may learnto fearMe allthe daysthey liveon the earth,and that they may teachtheir children.'
There was not a wordof allthat Moseshad commandedwhichJoshuadid not readbeforeallthe assemblyof Israelwith the womenand the littleonesand the strangerswho were livingamongthem.
The leaderssaidto them, "Let them live."So they becamehewersof woodand drawersof waterfor the wholecongregation,justas the leadershad spokento them.
And I sawthe dead,the greatand the small,standingbeforethe throne,and bookswere opened;and anotherbookwas opened,whichis [the book] of life;and the deadwere judgedfrom the things which were writtenin the books,accordingto their deeds.
Thenthe kingsof the earthand the great menand the commandersand the richand the strongand everyslaveand free manhidthemselvesin the cavesand amongthe rocksof the mountains;
And the LORDappearedagainat Shiloh,becausethe LORDrevealedHimself to Samuelat Shilohby the wordof the LORD.
Thus the wordof Samuelcameto allIsrael.Now Israelwentout to meetthe Philistinesin battleand campedbesideEbenezerwhile the Philistinescampedin Aphek.
