"Now,Israel,whatdoes the LORDyour Godrequirefrom you, but to fearthe LORDyour God,to walkin allHis waysand loveHim, and to servethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour soul,
Now Solomonlovedthe LORD,walkingin the statutesof his fatherDavid,excepthe sacrificedand burnedincenseon the highplaces.
But Jehuwas not carefulto walkin the lawof the LORD,the Godof Israel,with allhis heart;he did not departfrom the sinsof Jeroboam,whichhe made Israelsin.
He didrightin the sightof the LORD,according to allthat his fatherDavidhad done.
For he clungto the LORD;he did not departfrom followingHim, but keptHis commandments,whichthe LORDhad commandedMoses.
"As for you, my sonSolomon,knowthe Godof your father,and serveHim with a wholeheartand a willingmind;for the LORDsearchesallhearts,and understandseveryintentof the thoughts.Ifyou seekHim, He will let you findHim; but ifyou forsakeHim, He will rejectyou forever.
They enteredinto the covenantto seekthe LORDGodof their fatherswith alltheir heartand soul;
"Ifthey hearand serve[Him], They will endtheir daysin prosperityAnd their yearsin pleasures.
How blessedare those who observeHis testimonies,Who seekHim with all[their] heart.
How blessedis everyonewho fearsthe LORD,Who walksin His ways.
The LORDkeepsallwho loveHim, But allthe wickedHe will destroy.
"I loveYou, O LORD,my strength."
O fearthe LORD,you His saints;For to those who fearHim thereis nowant.
"Ohthat My peoplewould listento Me, That Israelwould walkin My ways!
"I would quicklysubduetheir enemiesAnd turnMy handagainsttheir adversaries.
"But you shall servethe LORDyour God,and He will blessyour breadand your water;and I will removesicknessfrom your midst.
The conclusion,when allhas been heard,[is]: fearGodand keepHis commandments,becausethis[applies to] everyperson.
that they may walkin My statutesand keepMy ordinancesand dothem. Then they will be My people,and I shall be their God.
He has toldyou, O man,whatis good;And whatdoes the LORDrequireof you But to dojustice,to lovekindness,And to walkhumblywith your God?
"For thenI will giveto the peoplespurifiedlips,That allof them may callon the nameof the LORD,To serveHim shoulderto shoulder.
And He saidto him, "'YOU SHALL LOVETHE LORDYOUR GODWITH ALLYOUR HEART,AND WITH ALLYOUR SOUL,AND WITH ALLYOUR MIND.'
And he answered,"YOU SHALL LOVETHE LORDYOUR GODWITH ALLYOUR HEART,AND WITH ALLYOUR SOUL,AND WITH ALLYOUR STRENGTH,AND WITH ALLYOUR MIND;AND YOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."
"But woeto you Pharisees!For you pay titheof mintand rueand every[kind of] garden herb,and [yet] disregardjusticeand the loveof God;but these are the thingsyou shouldhave donewithoutneglectingthe others.
Sothe churchthroughoutallJudeaand Galileeand Samariaenjoyedpeace,being builtup; and goingon in the fearof the Lordand in the comfortof the HolySpirit,it continued to increase.
For God,whomI servein my spiritin the [preaching of the] gospelof His Son,is my witness[as to] howunceasinglyI makementionof you,
And we knowthat Godcausesall thingsto work togetherfor goodto thosewho loveGod,to thosewho are calledaccordingto [His] purpose.
"Then the LORDsaidto me, 'Arise,proceedon your journeyaheadof the people,that they may goin and possessthe landwhichI sworeto their fathersto givethem.'
[and] to keepthe LORD'Scommandmentsand His statuteswhichI am commandingyou todayfor your good?
"You shall therefore lovethe LORDyour God,and alwayskeepHis charge,His statutes,His ordinances,and His commandments.
"It shall comeabout, ifyou listenobedientlyto my commandmentswhichI am commandingyou today,to lovethe LORDyour Godand to serveHim with allyour heartand allyour soul,
"Thisdaythe LORDyour Godcommandsyou to dothesestatutesand ordinances.You shall therefore be carefulto dothem with allyour heartand with allyour soul.
"You shall therefore obeythe LORDyour God,and doHis commandmentsand His statuteswhichI commandyou today."
in that I commandyou todayto lovethe LORDyour God,to walkin His waysand to keepHis commandmentsand His statutesand His judgments,that you may liveand multiply,and that the LORDyour Godmay blessyou in the landwhereyou are enteringto possessit.
by lovingthe LORDyour God,by obeyingHis voice,and by holdingfastto Him; for thisis your lifeand the lengthof your days,that you may livein the landwhichthe LORDsworeto your fathers,to Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,to givethem."
"But from thereyou will seekthe LORDyour God,and you will find[Him] ifyou searchfor Him with allyour heartand allyour soul.
Ohthat they hadsucha heartin them, that they would fearMe and keepallMy commandmentsalways,that it may be wellwith them and with their sonsforever!
"You shall walkin allthe waywhichthe LORDyour Godhas commandedyou, that you may liveand that it may be wellwith you, and that you may prolong[your] daysin the landwhichyou will possess.
"You shall fear[only] the LORDyour God;and you shall worshipHim and swearby His name.
sothat you and your sonand your grandsonmight fearthe LORDyour God,to keepallHis statutesand His commandmentswhichI commandyou, allthe daysof your life,and that your daysmay be prolonged.
"So the LORDcommandedus to observeallthesestatutes,to fearthe LORDour Godfor our goodalwaysand for our survival,as [it is] today.
"You shall lovethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour souland with allyour might.
But the goalof our instructionis lovefrom a pureheartand a goodconscienceand a sincerefaith.
Therefore,since we receivea kingdomwhich cannot be shaken,let us showgratitude,by whichwe may offerto Godan acceptableservicewith reverenceand awe;
"Onlybe verycarefulto observethe commandmentand the lawwhichMosesthe servantof the LORDcommandedyou, to lovethe LORDyour Godand walkin allHis waysand keepHis commandmentsand holdfastto Him and serveHim with allyour heartand with allyour soul."
"Now,therefore, fearthe LORDand serveHim in sincerityand truth;and putawaythe godswhichyour fathersservedbeyondthe Riverand in Egypt,and servethe LORD.
Do not lovethe worldnorthe things in the world.Ifanyonelovesthe world,the loveof the Fatheris not in him.
Whois the one who overcomesthe world,but he who believesthat Jesusis the Sonof God?
Samuelsaidto the people,"Do not fear.You have committedallthisevil,yetdo not turnasidefrom followingthe LORD,but servethe LORDwith allyour heart.
