"Lookamong the nations!Observe!Be astonished!Wonder!Because[I am] doingsomethingin your days--You would not believeifyou were told.
and they were being baptizedby him in the JordanRiver,as they confessedtheir sins.
"Thesesignswill accompanythosewho have believed:in My namethey will castout demons,they will speakwith newtongues;
"Those on the rocky[soil are] those who,whenthey hear,receivethe wordwith joy;and thesehaveno[firm] root;they believefor a while,and in timeof temptationfall away.
"For the Fatherlovesthe Son,and showsHim all thingsthat He Himselfis doing;and [the Father] will showHim greaterworksthan these,sothat you will marvel.
Jesusansweredthem, "I didonedeed,and you allmarvel.
The nextSabbathnearlythe wholecityassembledto hearthe wordof the Lord.
Godwas performingextraordinarymiraclesby the handsof Paul,
and they were taking noteof him as beingthe one who used to sitat the BeautifulGateof the templeto [beg] alms,and they were filledwith wonderand amazementat what had happenedto him.
