The waterprevailedmoreand moreupon the earth,so that allthe highmountainseverywhereunderthe heavenswere covered.

I will cause Your nameto be rememberedin allgenerations;Thereforethe peopleswill giveYou thanksforeverand ever.
"She will beara Son;and you shall callHis nameJesus,for He will saveHis peoplefrom their sins."
and that repentancefor forgivenessof sinswould be proclaimedin His nameto allthe nations,beginningfrom Jerusalem.
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."

Nowthere were Jewslivingin Jerusalem,devoutmenfrom everynationunderheaven.

Seeto it that you do not refuseHim who is speaking.For ifthosedid not escapewhen they refusedhim who warned[them] on earth,muchless[will] we [escape] who turn awayfrom Him who [warns] from heaven.
howwill we escapeif we neglectso greata salvation?Afterit was at the firstspokenthroughthe Lord,it was confirmedto us by thosewho heard,
And ifanyone'sname was not foundwrittenin the bookof life,he was throwninto the lakeof fire.
