"But Godraised Him up again,putting an endto the agonyof death,sinceit was impossiblefor Him to be heldin its power.
ThenHe saidto me, "It is done.I am the Alphaand the Omega,the beginningand the end.I will giveto the one who thirstsfrom the springof the waterof lifewithout cost.
"ThisJesusGodraised up again,to whichwe are allwitnesses.
For it was fittingfor Him, for whomare allthings,and throughwhomare all things,in bringingmanysonsto glory,to perfectthe authorof their salvationthroughsufferings.
Soalsoit is written,"The firstMAN,Adam,BECAMEA LIVINGSOUL."The lastAdam[became] a life-givingspirit.
"For justas the Fatherhaslifein Himself,evensoHe gaveto the Sonalsoto havelifein Himself;
In Him was life,and the lifewas the Lightof men.
The Spiritand the bridesay,"Come."And let the one who hearssay,"Come."And let the one who is thirstycome;let the one who wishestakethe waterof lifewithout cost.
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
And having been made perfect,He becameto allthosewho obeyHim the sourceof eternalsalvation,
evenas You gaveHim authorityover allflesh,that to allwhomYou have givenHim, He may giveeternallife.
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
Jesusansweredand saidto her, "Ifyou knewthe giftof God,and whoit is who saysto you, 'GiveMe a drink,'you would have askedHim, and He would have givenyou livingwater."
Thenhe showedme a riverof the waterof life,clearas crystal,comingfrom the throneof Godand of the Lamb,
and I giveeternallifeto them, and they will neverperish;and noonewill snatchthem out of My hand.
whichHe brought aboutin Christ,when He raisedHim from the deadand seatedHim at His right handin the heavenly[places],
"He is the one whom Godexaltedto His right handas a Princeand a Savior,to grantrepentanceto Israel,and forgivenessof sins.
beginningwith the baptismof Johnuntilthe daythat He was takenup from us-- oneof these[must] becomea witnesswith us of His resurrection."
"You are witnessesof these things.
being greatly disturbedbecausethey were teachingthe peopleand proclaimingin Jesusthe resurrectionfrom the dead.
fixing our eyeson Jesus,the authorand perfecterof faith,whofor the joyset beforeHim enduredthe cross,despisingthe shame,and has sat downat the right handof the throneof God.
