While he was clingingto Peterand John,allthe peopleran togetherto them at the so-calledporticoof Solomon,full of amazement.
"Whyhave you prophesiedin the nameof the LORDsaying,'Thishousewill be like Shilohand thiscitywill be desolate,withoutinhabitant?"And allthe peoplegatheredaboutJeremiahin the houseof the LORD.
And Jesus sentPeterand John,saying,"Goand preparethe Passoverfor us, sothat we may eatit."
But the manfrom whomthe demonshad goneout was beggingHim that he might accompanyHim; but He sent him away,saying,
it was winter,and Jesuswas walkingin the templein the porticoof Solomon.
And when thissoundoccurred,the crowdcame together,and were bewilderedbecauseeachoneof them was hearingthem speakin his ownlanguage.
But when Petersaw[this], he repliedto the people,"Menof Israel,whyare you amazedat this,orwhydo you gazeat us, as ifby our ownpowerorpietywe had madehim walk?
When he sawPeterand Johnaboutto gointo the temple,he [began] askingto receivealms.
But Peter,alongwith John,fixed his gazeon him and said,"Lookat us!"
At the handsof the apostlesmanysignsand wonderswere taking placeamongthe people;and they were allwith one accordin Solomon'sportico.
