and they were taking noteof him as beingthe one who used to sitat the BeautifulGateof the templeto [beg] alms,and they were filledwith wonderand amazementat what had happenedto him.
And when the menof that placerecognizedHim, they sent[word] into allthat surrounding districtand broughtto Him allwho were sick;
And amazementcameupon them all,and they [began] talkingwith one anothersaying,"Whatis thismessage?For with authorityand powerHe commandsthe uncleanspiritsand they comeout."
And they were allamazedat the greatnessof God.But while everyonewas marvelingat allthat He was doing,He saidto His disciples,
"For the Fatherlovesthe Son,and showsHim all thingsthat He Himselfis doing;and [the Father] will showHim greaterworksthan these,sothat you will marvel.
Jesusanswered,"[It was] neither[that] this mansinned,norhis parents;but [it was] sothat the worksof Godmight be displayedin him.
Thereforethe neighbors,and thosewho previouslysawhim as a beggar,were saying,"Is not thisthe one who used to sitand beg?"
And they allcontinued in amazementand great perplexity,sayingto oneanother,"Whatdoes thismean?"
They were amazedand astonished,saying,"Why,are not allthesewho are speakingGalileans?
And a manwho had beenlamefrom his mother'swombwas being carriedalong, whomthey used to set downeverydayat the gateof the templewhich is calledBeautiful,in order to begalmsof thosewho were enteringthe temple.
