Therewe found[some] brethren,and were invitedto staywith them for sevendays;and thuswe cameto Rome.
After lookingup the disciples,we stayedtheresevendays;and they kept tellingPaulthroughthe Spiritnot to set footin Jerusalem.
We sailedfrom Philippiafterthe daysof UnleavenedBread, and cameto them at Troaswithinfivedays;and therewe stayedsevendays.
It happenedthat whileApolloswas at Corinth,Paulpassed throughthe uppercountryand cameto Ephesus,and foundsomedisciples.
"For after sevenmoredays,I will sendrainon the earthfortydaysand fortynights;and I will blotout from the faceof the landeverylivingthingthat I have made."
Thereforethissayingwentout amongthe brethrenthat that disciplewould not die;yetJesusdid not sayto him that he would not die,but [only], "IfI wanthim to remainuntilI come,what[is that] to you?"
"And whatevercityorvillageyou enter,inquirewhois worthyin it, and stayat his houseuntilyou leave[that city].
I am a companionof allthose whofearYou, And of those who keepYour precepts.
At thistimePeterstoodup in the midstof the brethren(a gatheringof aboutone hundredand twentypersonswas there together),and said,
"Therefore,brethren,selectfrom amongyou sevenmenof good reputation,fullof the Spiritand of wisdom,whomwe may put in chargeof thistask.
But when the brethrenlearned[of it], they brought him downto Caesareaand sent him awayto Tarsus.
From therewe sailed aroundand arrivedat Rhegium,and a daylatera south windsprangup, and on the second daywe cameto Puteoli.
And the brethren,when they heardaboutus, camefrom thereas faras the Marketof Appiusand ThreeInnsto meetus; and when Paulsawthem, he thankedGodand tookcourage.
They saidto him, "We have neitherreceivedlettersfrom Judeaconcerningyou, norhave anyof the brethrencome hereand reportedorspokenanythingbadaboutyou.
I do not wantyou to be unaware,brethren,that oftenI have plannedto cometo you (and have been preventedsofar)sothat I may obtainsomefruitamongyou also,evenas amongthe restof the Gentiles.
