Saul'sson[had] twomenwho were commandersof bands:the nameof the onewas Baanahand the nameof the otherRechab,sonsof Rimmonthe Beerothite,of the sonsof Benjamin(for Beerothis alsoconsidered[part] of Benjamin,
His servantZimri,commanderof halfhis chariots,conspiredagainsthim. Now he [was] at Tirzahdrinkinghimself drunkin the houseof Arza,who[was] overthe householdat Tirzah.
When they had departedfrom him (for they lefthim verysick),his own servantsconspiredagainsthim because of the bloodof the sonof Jehoiadathe priest,and murderedhim on his bed.So he died,and they buriedhim in the cityof David,but they did not buryhim in the tombsof the kings.
From the timethat Amaziahturnedawayfrom followingthe LORDthey conspiredagainsthim in Jerusalem,and he fledto Lachish;but they sentafterhim to Lachishand killedhim there.
Finally his servantsconspiredagainsthim and puthim to deathin his own house.
