He madehim kingoverGilead,overthe Ashurites,overJezreel,overEphraim,and overBenjamin,even overallIsrael.
to transferthe kingdomfrom the houseof Sauland to establishthe throneof DavidoverIsraeland overJudah,from Daneven to Beersheba."
Then Abnersentmessengersto Davidin his place,saying,"Whoseis the land?Makeyour covenantwith me, and behold,my handshall be with you to bringallIsraeloverto you."
Then Abnerand twentymenwith him cameto Davidat Hebron.And Davidmadea feastfor Abnerand the menwhowere with him.
So allthe eldersof Israelcameto the kingat Hebron,and KingDavidmadea covenantwith them beforethe LORDat Hebron;then they anointedDavidkingoverIsrael.
I will takeyou, and you shall reignover whateveryou desire,and you shall be kingoverIsrael.
