Therefore he saidto his servants,"See,Joab'sfieldis nextto mine, and he has barleythere;goand setit on fire."So Absalom'sservantssetthe fieldon fire.
Then Absalomsentfor Joab,to sendhim to the king,but he wouldnot cometo him. So he sentagaina secondtime,but he wouldnot come.
Then Joabarose,cameto Absalomat his houseand saidto him, "Whyhave your servantssetmy fieldon fire?"
Then Joabsaid,"I will not wastetimeherewith you." So he tookthreespearsin his handand thrustthem through the heartof Absalomwhile he was yetalivein the midstof the oak.
He said,"Throwher down."So they threwher down,and someof her bloodwas sprinkledon the walland on the horses,and he trampledher under foot.
Samsonthen saidto them, "ThistimeI shall be blamelessin regardto the PhilistineswhenI dothem harm."
