and regardthe patienceof our Lord[as] salvation;justas alsoour belovedbrotherPaul,accordingto the wisdomgivenhim, wroteto you,
behold,I have doneaccording to your words.Behold,I have givenyou a wiseand discerningheart,sothat there has beennoone likeyou beforeyou, norshall one likeyou ariseafteryou.
When allIsraelheardof the judgmentwhichthe kinghad handeddown,they fearedthe king,for they sawthat the wisdomof Godwas in him to administerjustice.
Now GodgaveSolomonwisdomand verygreatdiscernmentand breadthof mind,like the sandthat is on the seashore.
"You, Ezra,according to the wisdomof your Godwhichis in your hand,appointmagistratesand judgesthat they may judgeallthe peoplewhoare in [the province] beyondthe River,[even] allthose who knowthe lawsof your God;and you may teachanyone whois ignorant[of them].
"I have filledhim with the Spiritof Godin wisdom,in understanding,in knowledge,and in all[kinds of] craftsmanship,
"And behold,I Myselfhave appointedwith him Oholiab,the sonof Ahisamach,of the tribeof Dan;and in the heartsof allwhoare skillfulI have putskill,that they may makeallthat I have commandedyou:
"And He has filledhim with the Spiritof God,in wisdom,in understandingand in knowledgeand in allcraftsmanship;
"He has filledthem with skillto performeveryworkof an engraverand of a designerand of an embroiderer,in blueand in purple[and] in scarlet[material], and in finelinen,and of a weaver,as performersof everyworkand makersof designs.
For to a personwhois goodin His sightHe has givenwisdomand knowledgeand joy,while to the sinnerHe has giventhe taskof gatheringand collectingso that he may giveto onewhois goodin God'ssight.Thistoois vanityand strivingafter wind.
Thereforethe LORDlongsto be graciousto you, And thereforeHe waits on highto havecompassionon you. For the LORDis a Godof justice;How blessedare allthose who longfor Him.
for I will giveyou utteranceand wisdomwhichnoneof your opponentswill be ableto resistorrefute.
it seemed goodto us, having becomeof one mind,to selectmento sendto you with our belovedBarnabasand Paul,
and rescuedhim from allhis afflictions,and grantedhim favorand wisdomin the sightof Pharaoh,kingof Egypt,and he madehim governoroverEgyptand allhis household.
SoAnaniasdepartedand enteredthe house,and after layinghis handson him said,"BrotherSaul,the LordJesus,who appearedto you on the roadby whichyou were coming,has sentme sothat you may regain your sightand be filledwith the HolySpirit."
Ordo you think lightlyof the richesof His kindnessand toleranceand patience,not knowingthat the kindnessof Godleadsyou to repentance?
For to oneis giventhe wordof wisdomthroughthe Spirit,and to anotherthe wordof knowledgeaccordingto the sameSpirit;
whichthings we alsospeak,not in wordstaughtby humanwisdom,but in those taughtby the Spirit,combiningspiritual[thoughts] with spiritual[words].
Accordingto the graceof Godwhich was givento me, likea wisemaster builderI laida foundation,and anotheris buildingon it. But each manmust be carefulhowhe buildson it.
that by revelationthere was made knownto me the mystery,as I wrote beforein brief.
Yetfor thisreasonI found mercy,sothat in me as the foremost,JesusChristmight demonstrateHis perfectpatienceas an examplefor thosewho wouldbelievein Him for eternallife.
But ifanyof you lackswisdom,let him askof God,who givesto allgenerouslyand withoutreproach,and it will be givento him.
But the wisdomfrom aboveis firstpure,thenpeaceable,gentle,reasonable,fullof mercyand goodfruits,unwavering,without hypocrisy.
who oncewere disobedient,whenthe patienceof Godkept waitingin the daysof Noah,during the constructionof the ark,in whicha few,that is, eightpersons,were brought safelythrough[the] water.
that you should rememberthe wordsspoken beforehandby the holyprophetsand the commandmentof the Lordand Savior[spoken] by your apostles.
The Lordis not slowabout His promise,as somecountslowness,but is patienttowardyou, not wishingfor anyto perishbut for allto cometo repentance.
