Isaiahthe prophetcriedto the LORD,and He broughtthe shadowon the stairwaybacktenstepsby whichit had gonedownon the stairwayof Ahaz.
So Hezekiahanswered,"It is easyfor the shadowto declinetensteps;no,but let the shadowturnbackwardtensteps."
In thosedaysHezekiahbecamemortallyill;and he prayedto the LORD,and the LORD spoketo him and gavehim a sign.
Even[in the matter of] the envoysof the rulersof Babylon,who sentto him to inquireof the wonderthat had happenedin the land,Godlefthim [alone only] to testhim, that He might knowallthat was in his heart.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Whyare you cryingout to Me? Tellthe sonsof Israelto goforward.
"Behold,I will causethe shadowon the stairway,whichhas gonedownwith the sunon the stairwayof Ahaz,to gobacktensteps."So the sun's[shadow] wentbacktenstepson the stairwayon whichit had gonedown.
But Petersentthem allout and kneltdownand prayed,and turningto the body,he said,"Tabitha,arise."And she openedher eyes,and when she sawPeter,she satup.
