But when they urgedhim untilhe was ashamed,he said,"Send."They senttherefore fiftymen;and they searchedthreedaysbut did not findhim.
They returnedto him while he was stayingat Jericho;and he saidto them, "Did I not sayto you, 'Do not go'?"
He fixedhis gazesteadily[on him] untilhe was ashamed,and the manof Godwept.
"I tellyou, eventhoughhe will not getup and givehim [anything] becausehe is his friend,yetbecauseof his persistencehe will getup and givehim as muchas he needs.
For I testifyabout them that they havea zealfor God,but not in accordancewith knowledge.
By faithEnochwas takenup so that he would not seedeath;AND HE WAS NOT FOUNDBECAUSEGODTOOKHIM UP; for he obtained the witnessthat beforehis being takenup he was pleasingto God.
