Solomon'shorseswere importedfrom Egyptand from Kue;the king'stradersprocuredthem from Kuefor a price.
They importedchariotsfrom Egyptfor 600[shekels] of silverapiece and horsesfor 150apiece, and by the samemeansthey exportedthem to allthe kingsof the Hittitesand the kingsof Aram.
Now Solomonhad4,000stallsfor horsesand chariotsand 12,000horsemen,and he stationedthem in the chariotcitiesand with the kingin Jerusalem.
