The wingspanof the cherubim[was] twentycubits;the wingof one,of fivecubits,touchedthe wallof the house,and [its] otherwing,of fivecubits,touchedthe wingof the othercherub.
He placedthe cherubimin the midstof the innerhouse,and the wingsof the cherubimwere spreadout, so that the wingof the onewas touchingthe [one] wall,and the wingof the othercherubwas touchingthe otherwall.So their wingswere touchingeachotherin the centerof the house.
Then he madetwosculpturedcherubimin the roomof the holyof holiesand overlaidthem with gold.
