Then Jehoiadathe priestgaveto the captainsof hundredsthe spearsand the largeand smallshieldswhichhad been KingDavid's,whichwere in the houseof God.
Davidtookthe shieldsof goldwhichwere carriedby the servantsof Hadadezerand broughtthem to Jerusalem.
KingSolomonmade200largeshieldsof beatengold,using600[shekels of] goldon eachlargeshield.
He stationedallthe people,eachmanwith his weaponin his hand,from the rightsideof the houseto the leftsideof the house,by the altarand by the house,aroundthe king.
So the Levitesand allJudahdidaccording to allthat Jehoiadathe priestcommanded.And eachoneof them tookhis menwho were to comein on the sabbath,with those who were to goout on the sabbath,for Jehoiadathe priestdid not dismiss[any of] the divisions.
Then the priestsaid,"The swordof Goliaththe Philistine,whomyou killedin the valleyof Elah,behold,it is wrappedin a clothbehindthe ephod;ifyou would takeit for yourself, take[it]. For thereis nootherexceptit here."And Davidsaid,"Thereis nonelikeit; giveit to me."
