When Jehoshaphatand his peoplecameto taketheir spoil,they foundmuchamong them, [including] goods,garmentsand valuablethingswhich they tookfor themselves, more thanthey could carry.And they were threedaystakingthe spoilbecausethere was so much.
When Judahcameto the lookoutof the wilderness,they lookedtowardthe multitude,and behold,they [were] corpseslyingon the ground,and noonehad escaped.
Then on the fourthdaythey assembledin the valleyof Beracah,for therethey blessedthe LORD.Thereforethey have namedthat place"The Valleyof Beracah"untiltoday.
"Kingsof armiesflee,they flee,And she whoremainsat homewill dividethe spoil!"
"But every womanshall askof her neighborand the woman who livesin her house,articlesof silverand articlesof gold,and clothing;and you will putthem on your sonsand daughters.Thus you will plunderthe Egyptians."
She is morepreciousthanjewels;And nothingyou desirecompareswith her.
Judahalsowill fightat Jerusalem;and the wealthof allthe surroundingnationswill be gathered,goldand silverand garmentsin greatabundance.
And Mosessaidto them, "Have you sparedallthe women?
The menof warhad takenbooty,everymanfor himself.
But in allthese thingswe overwhelmingly conquerthroughHim who lovedus.
Allthe spoilof thesecitiesand the cattle,the sonsof Israeltookas their plunder;but they struckeverymanwith the edgeof the sword,untilthey had destroyedthem. They leftnoonewhobreathed.
