After you have sufferedfor a little while,the Godof allgrace,who calledyou to His eternalgloryin Christ,will Himselfperfect,confirm,strengthen[and] establishyou.
My soulweepsbecauseof grief;Strengthenme according to Your word.
ThoughI walkin the midstof trouble,You will reviveme; You will stretchforthYour handagainstthe wrathof my enemies,And Your righthandwill saveme.
But You, O Lord,are a Godmercifuland gracious,Slowto angerand abundantin lovingkindnessand truth.
For You, Lord,are good,and readyto forgive,And abundantin lovingkindnessto allwho callupon You.
"And I will strengthenthem in the LORD,And in His namethey will walk,"declaresthe LORD.
"I will strengthenthe houseof Judah,And I will savethe houseof Joseph,And I will bringthem back,BecauseI havehadcompassionon them; And they will be as thoughI had not rejectedthem, For I am the LORDtheir Godand I will answerthem.
but I have prayedfor you, that your faithmay not fail;and you, when onceyou have turned again,strengthenyour brothers."
Nowmay the Godof hopefillyou with alljoyand peacein believing,sothat you will aboundin hopeby the powerof the HolySpirit.
Nowmay the Godwho givesperseveranceand encouragementgrantyou to be of the samemindwith one anotheraccordingto ChristJesus,
Nowto Him who is ableto establishyou accordingto my gospeland the preachingof JesusChrist,accordingto the revelationof the mysterywhich has been kept secretfor long agespast,
for though [the twins] were not yetbornand had not doneanythinggoodorbad,sothat God'spurposeaccordingto [His] choicewould stand,not becauseof worksbut becauseof Him who calls,
[even] us, whomHe alsocalled,not from amongJewsonly,but alsofrom amongGentiles.
NowI exhortyou, brethren,by the nameof our LordJesusChrist,that you allagreeand that there be nodivisionsamongyou, but that you be made completein the samemindand in the samejudgment.
Godis faithful,throughwhomyou were calledinto fellowshipwith His Son,JesusChristour Lord.
Finally,brethren,rejoice,be made complete,be comforted,be like-minded,live in peace;and the Godof loveand peacewill be with you.
For momentary,lightafflictionis producingfor us an eternalweightof gloryfarbeyondall comparison,
I can doall thingsthroughHim who strengthensme.
having been firmly rooted[and now] being builtup in Him and establishedin your faith,justas you were instructed,[and] overflowingwith gratitude.
sothat you would walkin a manner worthyof the Godwho callsyou into His ownkingdomand glory.
It was for thisHe calledyou throughour gospel,that you may gainthe gloryof our LordJesusChrist.
comfortand strengthenyour heartsin everygoodworkand word.
But the Lordis faithful,and He will strengthenand protectyou from the evil[one].
Fightthe goodfightof faith;take holdof the eternallifeto whichyou were called,and you madethe goodconfessionin the presenceof manywitnesses.
who has savedus and calledus with a holycalling,not accordingto our works,but accordingto His ownpurposeand gracewhich was grantedus in ChristJesusfrom alleternity,
For thisreasonI endureall thingsfor the sakeof thosewho are chosen,sothat they alsomay obtainthe salvationwhich is in ChristJesus[and] with [it] eternalglory.
For thisreasonHe is the mediatorof a newcovenant,sothat, since a deathhas taken placefor the redemptionof the transgressionsthat were [committed] underthe firstcovenant,thosewho have been calledmay receivethe promiseof the eternalinheritance.
but likethe HolyOnewho calledyou, be holyyourselvesalsoin all[your] behavior;
As each onehas receiveda [special] gift,employ it in servingone anotheras goodstewardsof the manifoldgraceof God.
Whoeverspeaks,[is to do so] as onewho is speakingthe utterancesof God;whoeverserves[is to do] [so] as onewho is servingby the strengthwhichGodsupplies;sothat in all thingsGodmay be glorifiedthroughJesusChrist,to whombelongsthe gloryand dominionforeverand ever.Amen.
seeingthat His divinepowerhas grantedto us everythingpertainingto lifeand godliness,throughthe true knowledgeof Him who calledus by His owngloryand excellence.
Thisis the promisewhichHe Himselfmadeto us: eternallife.
Nowto Him who is ableto keepyou from stumbling,and to make you standin the presenceof His gloryblamelesswith great joy,
