but they will giveaccountto Him who is readyto judgethe livingand the dead.
For the LORDknowsthe wayof the righteous,But the wayof the wickedwill perish.
For Godwill bringeveryactto judgment,everythingwhich is hidden,whetherit is goodor evil.
"ThereforeI will judgeyou, O houseof Israel,eachaccording to his conduct,"declaresthe LordGOD."Repentand turnawayfrom allyour transgressions,so that iniquitymay not becomea stumblingblockto you.
"But I tellyou that everycarelesswordthat peoplespeak,they shall givean accountingfor it in the dayof judgment.
"And he calledhim and saidto him, 'Whatis thisI hearaboutyou? Givean accountingof your management,for you cannolongerbe manager.'
"And He orderedus to preachto the people,and solemnly to testifythat thisis the One who has been appointedby Godas Judgeof the livingand the dead.
becauseHe has fixeda dayin whichHe willjudgethe worldin righteousnessthrougha ManwhomHe has appointed,having furnishedproofto all menby raisingHim from the dead."
For to thisend Christdiedand livedagain, that He might be Lordbothof the deadand of the living.
I solemnly charge[you] in the presenceof Godand of ChristJesus,who is to judgethe livingand the dead,and by His appearingand His kingdom:
Do not complain,brethren,againstone another,sothat you yourselves may not be judged;behold,the Judgeis standingrightat the door.
