"Nowtherefore, O Godof Israel,let Your word,I pray,be confirmedwhichYou have spokento Your servant,my fatherDavid.
He said,"O LORD,the Godof Israel,thereis noGodlikeYou in heavenaboveor on earthbeneath,keepingcovenantand [showing] lovingkindnessto Your servantswho walkbeforeYou with alltheir heart,
"But will Godindeeddwellon the earth?Behold,heavenand the highestheavencannotcontainYou, howmuchlessthishousewhichI have built!
"Now,O LORD,let the wordthat You have spokenconcerningYour servantand concerninghis housebe establishedforever,and doas You have spoken.
"Now,O LORDGod,Your promiseto my fatherDavidis fulfilled,for You have mademe kingovera peopleas numerousas the dustof the earth.
EstablishYour wordto Your servant,As that whichproduces reverencefor You.
Rememberthe wordto Your servant,In whichYou have made me hope.

and they sawthe Godof Israel;and underHis feetthere appeared to be a pavementof sapphire,as clearas the skyitself.
"The afflictedand needyare seekingwater,but thereis none,And their tongueis parchedwith thirst;I, the LORD,will answerthem Myself, [As] the Godof IsraelI will not forsakethem.
"I will giveyou the treasuresof darknessAnd hiddenwealthof secretplaces,So that you may knowthat it is I, The LORD,the Godof Israel,who callsyou by your name.
in orderto confirmthe oathwhichI sworeto your forefathers,to givethem a landflowingwith milkand honey,as [it is] thisday."'"Then I said,"Amen,O LORD."
Then Eliansweredand said,"Goin peace;and may the Godof Israelgrantyour petitionthat you have askedof Him."
