He engravedon the platesof its staysand on its borders,cherubim,lionsand palmtrees,according to the clearspaceon each,with wreaths[all] around.
Then he carvedallthe wallsof the houseroundaboutwith carvedengravingsof cherubim,palmtrees,and openflowers,innerand outer[sanctuaries].
So [he made] twodoorsof olivewood,and he carvedon them carvingsof cherubim,palmtrees,and openflowers,and overlaidthem with gold;and he spreadthe goldon the cherubimand on the palmtrees.
He carved[on it] cherubim,palmtrees,and openflowers;and he overlaid[them] with goldevenlyappliedon the engravedwork.
and on the borderswhichwere betweenthe frames[were] lions,oxenand cherubim;and on the framesthere [was] a pedestalabove,and beneaththe lionsand oxen[were] wreathsof hangingwork.
On the topof the stand[there was] a circularformhalfa cubithigh,and on the topof the standits staysand its borders[were] partof it.
He madethe tenstandslike this:allof them had onecasting,onemeasureand oneform.
And eachonehad fourfaces.The firstface[was] the faceof a cherub,the secondface[was] the faceof a man,the thirdthe faceof a lion,and the fourththe faceof an eagle.
Its porches[were] towardthe outercourt;and palmtreeornaments[were] on its sidepillars,and its stairway[had] eightsteps.
