The kingwentto Gibeonto sacrificethere,for that was the greathighplace;Solomonoffereda thousandburntofferingson that altar.
They broughtup the arkof the LORDand the tentof meetingand allthe holyutensils,whichwere in the tent,and the priestsand the Levitesbroughtthem up.
Solomonofferedfor the sacrificeof peaceofferings,whichhe offeredto the LORD,22000oxenand 120,000sheep.So the kingand allthe sonsof Israeldedicatedthe houseof the LORD.
that the LORDappearedto Solomona secondtime,as He had appearedto him at Gibeon.
[He left] Zadokthe priestand his relativesthe priestsbeforethe tabernacleof the LORDin the highplacewhich[was] at Gibeon,
For the tabernacleof the LORD,whichMoseshad madein the wilderness,and the altarof burntoffering[were] in the highplaceat Gibeonat that time.
Solomonspoketo allIsrael,to the commandersof thousandsand of hundredsand to the judgesand to everyleaderin allIsrael,the headsof the fathers'[households].
Then Solomonand allthe assemblywith him wentto the highplacewhichwas at Gibeon,for God'stentof meetingwas there,whichMosesthe servantof the LORDhad madein the wilderness.
For Hezekiahkingof Judahhad contributedto the assembly1000bullsand 7,000sheep,and the princeshad contributedto the assembly1000bullsand 10,000sheep;and a largenumberof priestsconsecratedthemselves.
KingSolomonoffereda sacrificeof 22,000oxenand 120,000sheep.Thus the kingand allthe peoplededicatedthe houseof God.
Even Lebanonis not enoughto burn,Norits beastsenoughfor a burntoffering.
Now in the sameyear,in the beginningof the reignof Zedekiahkingof Judah,in the fourthyear,in the fifthmonth,Hananiahthe sonof Azzur,the prophet,whowas from Gibeon,spoketo me in the houseof the LORDin the presenceof the priestsand allthe people,saying,
that he fearedgreatly,becauseGibeon[was] a greatcity,like oneof the royalcities,and becauseit was greaterthanAi,and allits men[were] mighty.
Now the citiesof the tribeof the sonsof Benjaminaccording to their familieswere Jerichoand Beth-hoglahand Emek-keziz,
When the inhabitantsof GibeonheardwhatJoshuahad doneto Jerichoand to Ai,
So Saulsaid,"Bringto me the burntofferingand the peaceofferings."And he offeredthe burntoffering.
