But Abramsaidto Sarai,"Behold,your maidis in your power;doto her whatis goodin your sight."So Saraitreatedher harshly,and she fledfrom her presence.
When the womansawthat the treewas goodfor food,and that it was a delightto the eyes,and that the treewas desirableto make [one] wise,she tookfrom its fruitand ate;and she gavealsoto her husbandwith her, and he ate.
But Nabothsaidto Ahab,"The LORDforbidme that I should giveyou the inheritanceof my fathers."
So he saidto her, "BecauseI spoketo Naboththe Jezreeliteand saidto him, 'Giveme your vineyardfor money;orelse, ifit pleasesyou, I will giveyou a vineyardin its place.'But he said,'I will not giveyou my vineyard.'"

"You shall not covetyour neighbor'shouse;you shall not covetyour neighbor'swifeor his maleservantor his femaleservantor his oxor his donkeyor anythingthat belongs to your neighbor."
I madegardensand parksfor myself and I plantedin them allkinds of fruittrees;
"[You are] a gardenspring,A wellof freshwater,And streams[flowing] from Lebanon."
"But your eyesand your heartAre [intent] onlyupon your own dishonestgain,And on sheddinginnocentbloodAnd on practicingoppressionand extortion."
ThenHe saidto them, "Beware,and be on your guardagainstevery formof greed;for not [even] whenonehas an abundancedoes his lifeconsistof his possessions."
"For the land,into whichyou are enteringto possessit, is not like the landof Egyptfrom whichyou came,whereyou used to sowyour seedand waterit with your footlike a vegetablegarden.

But thosewho wantto get richfallinto temptationand a snareand manyfoolishand harmfuldesireswhichplungemeninto ruinand destruction.
Then AchishcalledDavidand saidto him, "[As] the LORDlives,you [have been] upright,and your goingout and your comingin with me in the armyare pleasingin my sight;for I have not foundevilin you from the dayof your comingto me to thisday.Nevertheless, you are not pleasingin the sightof the lords.
"He will takethe bestof your fieldsand your vineyardsand your olivegrovesand give[them] to his servants.
But the thingwas displeasingin the sightof Samuelwhenthey said,"Giveus a kingto judgeus." And Samuelprayedto the LORD.
