The LORDheardthe voiceof Elijah,and the lifeof the childreturnedto him and he revived.
Elijahtookthe childand broughthim downfrom the upperroominto the houseand gavehim to his mother;and Elijahsaid,"See,your sonis alive."
As they were buryinga man,behold,they sawa maraudingband;and they castthe maninto the graveof Elisha.And when the mantouchedthe bonesof Elishahe revivedand stoodup on his feet.
And He cameup and touchedthe coffin;and the bearerscame to a halt.And He said,"Young man,I sayto you, arise!"
He, however,tookher by the handand called,saying,"Child,arise!"
When He had saidthese things,He criedout with a loudvoice,"Lazarus,comeforth."
They took awaythe boyalive,and were greatlycomforted.
For to thisend Christdiedand livedagain, that He might be Lordbothof the deadand of the living.
Seenowthat I, I am He, And thereis nogodbesidesMe; It is I who putto deathand givelife.I have woundedand it is I who heal,And thereis noonewho can deliverfrom My hand.
Womenreceived[back] their deadby resurrection;and otherswere tortured,not acceptingtheir release,sothat they might obtaina betterresurrection;
But afterthe threeand a halfdays,the breathof lifefrom Godcameinto them, and they stoodon their feet;and greatfearfellupon thosewho were watchingthem.
