Jeroboaminstituteda feastin the eighthmonthon the fifteenthdayof the month,like the feastwhichis in Judah,and he wentup to the altar;thushe didin Bethel,sacrificingto the calveswhichhe had made.And he stationedin Bethelthe priestsof the highplaceswhichhe had made.
Now behold,there camea manof Godfrom Judahto Bethelby the wordof the LORD,while Jeroboamwas standingby the altarto burnincense.
AfterthiseventJeroboamdid not returnfrom his evilway,but againhe madepriestsof the highplacesfrom among allthe people;any who would,he ordained,to be priestsof the highplaces.
Allthe menof Israelassembledthemselves to KingSolomonat the feast,in the monthEthanim,whichis the seventhmonth.
And KingSolomonand allthe congregationof Israel,who were assembledto him, were with him beforethe ark,sacrificingsomanysheepand oxenthey could not be countedor numbered.
Now when Aaronsaw[this], he builtan altarbeforeit; and Aaronmadea proclamationand said,"Tomorrow[shall be] a feastto the LORD."
by settingtheir thresholdby My thresholdand their doorpostbesideMy doorpost,with [only] the wallbetweenMe and them. And they have defiledMy holynameby their abominationswhichthey have committed.So I have consumedthem in My anger.
And the manMicahhad a shrineand he madean ephodand householdidolsand consecratedoneof his sons,that he might becomehis priest.
