And the testimonyis this,that Godhas givenus eternallife,and thislifeis in His Son.
"Thesewill go awayinto eternalpunishment,but the righteousinto eternallife."
Thisis the testimonyof John,whenthe Jewssentto him priestsand Levitesfrom Jerusalemto askhim, "Whoare you?"
In Him was life,and the lifewas the Lightof men.
and I giveeternallifeto them, and they will neverperish;and noonewill snatchthem out of My hand.
"I knowthat His commandmentis eternallife;thereforethe things I speak,I speakjustas the Fatherhas toldMe."
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
And he who has seenhas testified, and his testimonyis true;and he knowsthat he is tellingthe truth,sothat you alsomay believe.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."
"Alreadyhe who reapsis receivingwagesand is gatheringfruitfor lifeeternal;sothat he who sowsand he who reapsmay rejoicetogether.
And He hadto pass throughSamaria.
"For justas the Fatherraisesthe deadand givesthem life,evensothe Sonalsogives lifeto whomHe wishes.
"For justas the Fatherhaslifein Himself,evensoHe gaveto the Sonalsoto havelifein Himself;
"For thisis the willof My Father,that everyonewho beholdsthe Sonand believesin Him will haveeternallife,and I Myselfwill raisehim up on the lastday."
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who believeshaseternallife.
SimonPeteransweredHim, "Lord,to whomshall we go?You havewordsof eternallife.
sothat, as sinreignedin death,evensogracewould reignthroughrighteousnessto eternallifethroughJesusChristour Lord.
For the wagesof sinis death,but the free giftof Godis eternallifein ChristJesusour Lord.
Yetfor thisreasonI found mercy,sothat in me as the foremost,JesusChristmight demonstrateHis perfectpatienceas an examplefor thosewho wouldbelievein Him for eternallife.
in the hopeof eternallife,whichGod,who cannot lie,promisedlong agesago,
Thisis the promisewhichHe Himselfmadeto us: eternallife.
In thisis love,not that we lovedGod,but that He lovedus and sentHis Son[to be] the propitiationfor our sins.
By thisthe loveof Godwas manifestedin us, that Godhas sentHis only begottenSoninto the worldsothat we might livethroughHim.
The one who believesin the Sonof Godhasthe testimonyin himself;the one who does not believeGodhas madeHim a liar,becausehe has not believedin the testimonythat Godhas givenconcerningHis Son.
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
For thereare threethat testify:
Demetriushas receiveda [good] testimonyfrom everyone,and from the truthitself;and we add our testimony,and you knowthat our testimonyis true.
keepyourselvesin the loveof God,waiting anxiouslyfor the mercyof our LordJesusChristto eternallife.
whotestifiedto the wordof Godand to the testimonyof JesusChrist,[even] to allthat he saw.
Thenhe showedme a riverof the waterof life,clearas crystal,comingfrom the throneof Godand of the Lamb,
