but one who is marriedis concernedabout the things of the world,howhe may pleasehis wife,
And He saidto His disciples,"For thisreasonI sayto you, do not worryabout[your] life,[as to] whatyou will eat;norfor your body,[as to] whatyou will puton.
"Another onesaid,I have marrieda wife,and for that reasonI cannotcome.'
"[He flees] becausehe is a hired handand is not concernedaboutthe sheep.
The husbandmustfulfillhis dutyto his wife,and likewisealsothe wifeto her husband.
But I wantyou to be free from concern.One who is unmarriedis concernedabout the things of the Lord,howhe may pleasethe Lord;
and [his interests] are divided.The womanwho is unmarried,and the virgin,is concernedabout the things of the Lord,that she may be holybothin bodyand spirit;but one who is marriedis concernedabout the things of the world,howshe may pleaseher husband.
Husbands,loveyour wivesand do not be embitteredagainstthem.
But ifanyonedoes not providefor his own,and especiallyfor those of his household,he has deniedthe faithand is worsethan an unbeliever.
You husbandsin the same way,livewith [your wives] in an understanding way,as with someoneweaker,since she is a woman;and showher honoras a fellow heirof the graceof life,sothat your prayerswill not be hindered.
