Whatthenis Apollos?And whatis Paul?Servantsthroughwhomyou believed,evenas the Lordgave[opportunity] to each one.
but in everythingcommendingourselvesas servantsof God,in muchendurance,in afflictions,in hardships,in distresses,
And working together[with Him], we alsourgeyou not to receivethe graceof Godin vain--
As each onehas receiveda [special] gift,employ it in servingone anotheras goodstewardsof the manifoldgraceof God.
whoalsomade us adequate[as] servantsof a newcovenant,not of the letterbut of the Spirit;for the letterkills,but the Spiritgives life.
Are they servantsof Christ?--I speakas if insane--I more so;in far morelabors,in far moreimprisonments,beatentimes without number,oftenin danger of death.
But we havethistreasurein earthenvessels,sothat the surpassing greatnessof the powerwill be of Godand not from ourselves;
For we do not preachourselvesbut ChristJesusas Lord,and ourselvesas your bond-servantsfor Jesus'sake.
being manifestedthat you are a letterof Christ,caredfor by us, writtennot with inkbut with the Spiritof the livingGod,not on tabletsof stonebut on tabletsof humanhearts.
Accordingto the graceof Godwhich was givento me, likea wisemaster builderI laida foundation,and anotheris buildingon it. But each manmust be carefulhowhe buildson it.
And Godhas appointedin the church,firstapostles,secondprophets,thirdteachers,thenmiracles,thengiftsof healings,helps,administrations,[various] kindsof tongues.
For ifI dothisvoluntarily,I havea reward;but ifagainst my will,I have a stewardshipentrustedto me.
So thenneitherthe one who plantsnorthe one who watersis anything,but Godwho causes the growth.
Johnansweredand said,"A mancanreceivenothingunlessit has beengivenhim from heaven.
justas they were handed downto us by thosewho from the beginningwere eyewitnessesand servantsof the word,
"To onehe gavefivetalents,to another,two,and to another,one,eachaccordingto his ownability;and he went on his journey.
Of [this church] I was madea ministeraccordingto the stewardshipfrom Godbestowedon me for your benefit,so that I might fully carryout the [preaching of] the wordof God,
of whichI was madea minister,accordingto the giftof God'sgracewhich was givento me accordingto the workingof His power.

to be a ministerof ChristJesusto the Gentiles,ministering as a priestthe gospelof God,sothat [my] offeringof the Gentilesmay becomeacceptable,sanctifiedby the HolySpirit.
whetherPaulorApollosorCephasorthe worldorlifeordeathorthings presentorthings to come;all thingsbelong to you,
But concerningApollosour brother,I encouragedhim greatlyto cometo you with the brethren;and it was not at all[his] desireto comenow,but he will comewhenhe has opportunity.
Therefore,since we havethisministry,as we received mercy,we do not lose heart,
Nowall [these] thingsare from God,whoreconciledus to HimselfthroughChristand gaveus the ministryof reconciliation,
ifindeedyou continuein the faithfirmly establishedand steadfast,and not moved awayfrom the hopeof the gospelthat you have heard,which was proclaimedin allcreationunderheaven,and of whichI, Paul,was madea minister.
I thankChristJesusour Lord,who has strengthenedme, becauseHe consideredme faithful,puttingme into service,
