Your peoplewill volunteerfreelyin the dayof Your power;In holyarray,from the wombof the dawn,Your youthare to You [as] the dew.
Whateverthe LORDpleases,He does,In heavenand in earth,in the seasand in alldeeps.
Declaringthe endfrom the beginning,And from ancienttimesthings whichhave not been done,Saying,My purposewill be established,And I will accomplishallMy goodpleasure';
Then they calledon the LORDand said,"We earnestlypray,OLORD,do not let us perishon account of thisman'slifeand do not putinnocentbloodon us; for You, O LORD,have doneas You have pleased."
At that verytimeHe rejoiced greatlyin the HolySpirit,and said,"I praiseYou, O Father,Lordof heavenand earth,that You have hiddenthese thingsfrom [the] wiseand intelligentand have revealedthem to infants.Yes,Father,for this waywas well-pleasingin Your sight.
"Do not be afraid,littleflock,for your Fatherhas chosen gladlyto giveyou the kingdom.
For throughthe gracegivento me I sayto everyoneamongyou not to think more highlyof himself thanhe oughtto think;but to thinksoas to have sound judgment,as Godhas allottedto eacha measureof faith.
Since we havegiftsthat differaccordingto the gracegivento us, [each of us is to exercise them accordingly]: ifprophecy,accordingto the proportionof his faith;
But oneand the sameSpiritworksallthese things,distributingto each oneindividuallyjustas He wills.
Ifthe wholebodywere an eye,wherewould the hearingbe? Ifthe wholewere hearing,wherewould the sense of smellbe?
Ifthey were allonemember,wherewould the bodybe?
whereasour morepresentablemembers havenoneed[of it]. But Godhas [so] composedthe body,givingmore abundanthonorto that [member] which lacked,
And Godhas appointedin the church,firstapostles,secondprophets,thirdteachers,thenmiracles,thengiftsof healings,helps,administrations,[various] kindsof tongues.
But Godgivesit a bodyjustas He wished,and to eachof the seedsa bodyof its own.
Whatthenis Apollos?And whatis Paul?Servantsthroughwhomyou believed,evenas the Lordgave[opportunity] to each one.
He predestinedus to adoption as sonsthroughJesusChristto Himself,accordingto the kind intentionof His will,
He made knownto us the mysteryof His will, accordingto His kind intentionwhichHe purposedin Him
"Worthyare You, our Lordand our God,to receivegloryand honorand power;for You createdall things,and becauseof Your willthey existed,and were created."
