For evenas the bodyis oneand [yet] hasmanymembers,and allthe membersof the body,though they are many,are onebody,soalsois Christ.
Sincethere is onebread,we who are manyare onebody;for we allpartakeof the onebread.
But nowthere are manymembers,but onebody.
Nowyou are Christ'sbody,and individuallymembersof it.
But to each oneis giventhe manifestationof the Spiritfor the common good.
Nowthe promiseswere spokento Abrahamand to his seed.He does not say,"And to seeds,"as [referring] to many,but [rather] to one,"And to your seed,"that is, Christ.
whichis His body,the fullnessof Him who fillsallin all.
for the equippingof the saintsfor the workof service,to the buildingup of the bodyof Christ;
[There is] onebodyand oneSpirit,justas alsoyou were calledin onehopeof your calling;
For the husbandis the headof the wife,as Christalsois the headof the church,He Himself[being] the Saviorof the body.
becausewe are membersof His body.
He is alsoheadof the body,the church;and He is the beginning,the firstbornfrom the dead,sothat He Himselfwill cometo have first placein everything.
NowI rejoicein my sufferingsfor your sake,and in my fleshI do my shareon behalfof His body,whichis the church,in fillingup whatis lackingin Christ'safflictions.
and not holding fastto the head,from whomthe entirebody,being suppliedand held togetherby the jointsand ligaments,growswith a growthwhich is from God.
Let the peaceof Christrulein your hearts,to whichindeedyou were calledin onebody;and be thankful.
