Theseare the sonsof Aaron:Eleazarhis son,Phinehashis son,Abishuahis son,
Now the divisionsof the descendantsof Aaron[were these]: the sonsof Aaron[were] Nadab,Abihu,Eleazarand Ithamar.
Bukkihis son,Uzzihis son,Zerahiahhis son,
Phinehasthe sonof Eleazarwas ruleroverthem previously,[and] the LORDwas with him.
On the fourthdaythe silverand the goldand the utensilswere weighedout in the houseof our Godinto the handof Meremoththe sonof Uriahthe priest,and with him [was] Eleazarthe sonof Phinehas;and with them [were] the Levites,Jozabadthe sonof Jeshuaand Noadiahthe sonof Binnui.
"Then bringnearto yourself Aaronyour brother,and his sonswith him, from amongthe sonsof Israel,to ministeras priestto Me-- Aaron,Nadaband Abihu,Eleazarand Ithamar,Aaron'ssons.
AaronmarriedElisheba,the daughterof Amminadab,the sisterof Nahshon,and she borehim Nadaband Abihu,Eleazarand Ithamar.
But Mosessearchedcarefullyfor the goatof the sinoffering,and behold,it had been burnedup! So he was angrywith Aaron'ssurvivingsonsEleazarand Ithamar,saying,
Mosesdidjustas the LORDcommandedhim; and he tookJoshuaand sethim beforeEleazarthe priestand beforeallthe congregation.
and Eleazarthe sonof Aaronthe priest[was] the chiefof the leadersof Levi,[and had] the oversightof those who performthe dutiesof the sanctuary.
But Nadaband Abihudiedbeforethe LORDwhen they offeredstrangefirebeforethe LORDin the wildernessof Sinai;and they hadnochildren.So Eleazarand Ithamarservedas priestsin the lifetimeof their fatherAaron.
