And Davidrealizedthat the LORDhad establishedhim as kingoverIsrael,[and] that his kingdomwas highlyexalted,for the sakeof His peopleIsrael.
"Your houseand your kingdomshall endurebeforeMe forever;your throneshall be establishedforever."'"
"Nowtherefore, thusyou shall sayto My servantDavid,'Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,"I tookyou from the pasture,from followingthe sheep,to be ruleroverMy peopleIsrael.
"Blessedbe the LORDyour Godwhodelightedin you to setyou on the throneof Israel;because the LORDlovedIsraelforever,therefore He madeyou king,to dojusticeand righteousness."
Now Hiramkingof Tyresentmessengersto Davidwith cedartrees,masonsand carpenters,to builda housefor him.

"Thiswas a smallthingin Your eyes,O God;but You have spokenof Your servant'shousefor a greatwhileto come,and have regardedme according to the standardof a manof highdegree,O LORDGod.
"Now behold,I will giveto your servants,the woodsmenwho cutthe timber,20000korsof crushedwheatand 20,000korsof barley,and 20,000bathsof wineand 20,000bathsof oil."
Then Huram,kingof Tyre,answeredin a lettersentto Solomon:"Because the LORDlovesHis people,He has madeyou kingoverthem."
"For ifyou remainsilentat thistime,reliefand deliverancewill arisefor the Jewsfrom anotherplaceand you and your father'shousewill perish.And whoknowswhetheryou have not attainedroyaltyfor such a timeas this?"
"But as for me, thismysteryhasnot been revealedto me for any wisdomresidingin me morethan[in] any[other] livingman,but for the purposeof makingthe interpretationknownto the king,and that you may understandthe thoughtsof your mind.
"Waterwill flowfrom his buckets,And his seed[will be] by manywaters,And his kingshall be higherthanAgag,And his kingdomshall be exalted.
"Now it shall be, ifyou diligentlyobeythe LORDyour God,beingcarefulto doallHis commandmentswhichI commandyou today,the LORDyour Godwill setyou highaboveallthe nationsof the earth.
