He has swallowed down riches, and he will vomit them up again; God will cast them out of his belly.

He will suck the poison of cobras; the viper’s tongue will slay him.

When he is about to fill his belly, God will cast the fury of His wrath on him and will rain it on him while he is eating.

Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

The bread of deceit is sweet to a man, but afterward is his mouth filled with gravel.

Your own wickedness will correct you, and your backslidings will reprove you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter for you to have forsaken the Lord your God, and the fear of Me is not in you, says the Lord God of Hosts.

If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart to give honor to My name, says the Lord of Hosts, I will send a curse on you and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.

“Their throats are an open grave; with their tongues they have used deceit”; “the poison of vipers is under their lips”;

They will be starved by famine, and consumed by plague and bitter destruction; I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of crawling creatures in the dust.
