Help! They are chasing me, and they are too strong.

struck down by fear. Our LORD, your powerful arm kept them still as a rock until the people you rescued for your very own had marched by.

How can anyone break into a strong man's house and steal his things, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can take everything.

The Son of Man did not come to be a slave master, but a slave who will give his life to rescue many people.

Jesus answered: You are completely wrong! You don't know what the Scriptures teach. And you don't know anything about the power of God.

He gave himself to rescue us from everything that is evil and to make our hearts pure. He wanted us to be his own people and to be eager to do right.
