The LORD God will help me and prove I am innocent. My accusers will wear out like moth-eaten clothes.
If you can prove me guilty, I will give up and die.
I am rotting away like cloth eaten by worms.
They will all disappear and wear out like clothes. You change them, as you would a coat, but you last for ever.
You punish us severely because of our sins. Like a moth, you destroy what we treasure most. We are as frail as a breath.
I will bring a gift and offer a sacrifice to you, LORD. I will praise your name because you are good.
Don't be afraid. I am with you. Don't tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with my arm and give you victories.
Weapons made to attack you won't be successful; words spoken against you won't hurt at all. My servants, Jerusalem is yours! I, the LORD, promise to bless you with victory.
Your treasures have already rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes.
