None of you respect the LORD or obey his servant. You walk in the dark instead of the light; you don't trust the name of the LORD your God.

Our LORD and God, you are my lamp. You turn darkness to light.

Meanwhile, I patiently trust the LORD, even though he is no longer pleased with Israel.

I am the light that has come into the world. No one who has faith in me will stay in the dark.

Once again Jesus spoke to the people. This time he said, “I am the light for the world! Follow me, and you won't be walking in the dark. You will have the light that gives life.”

You used to be like people living in the dark, but now you are people of the light because you belong to the Lord. So act like people of the light

Suffering made Jesus perfect, and now he can save for ever all who obey him.

God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.

David was desperate. His soldiers were so upset over what had happened to their sons and daughters that they were thinking about stoning David to death. But he felt the LORD God giving him strength,
