Eat what you want that night, and the next morning burn whatever is left.

Moses told them not to keep any overnight.

Do not offer bread made with yeast when you sacrifice an animal to me. And make sure that the fat of the animal is burnt that same day.

If any of the sacred food is left until morning, it must be burnt up.

When you sacrifice an animal on the altar, don't offer bread made with yeast. And don't save any part of the Passover meal for the next day.

You may eat the meat either on the day of the sacrifice or on the next day, but you must burn anything left until the third day.

Eat all the meat that same day and don't save any for the next day. I am the LORD your God!

and don't leave any of it until morning or break any of the animal's bones. Be sure to follow these regulations.
