14 and looked and saw the sovereign standing by a column, according to the ruling, and the chiefs and the trumpeters were beside the sovereign, and all the people of the land rejoicing and blowing trumpets. And Athalyah tore her garments and cried out, “Treason! Treason!”

And the sovereign stood by the column and made a covenant before יהוה, to follow יהוה  and to guard His commands and His witnesses and His laws, with all his heart and all his being, to establish the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.


And they hurried, and each one took his garment and put it under him on the top of the steps. And they blew a ram’s horn, saying, “Yĕ


Thereupon Yehoram turned his hands around and fled, and said to Aḥ


And also those who were near to them, from as far away as Yissasḵ


And the sovereign stood in his place and made a covenant before יהוה, to follow יהוה  and to guard His commands and His witnesses and His laws, with all his heart and all his being, to do the words of the covenant that were written in this book.


When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; But when a wrong one rules, the people sigh.


And as He was coming near, already at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the entire crowd of the taught ones began, to praise Elohim, rejoicing with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen,
