and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: 'He shall give His angels orders concerning you,' and, 'In their hands they will lift you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.' "


And He was there in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan, and was with the wild animals; and the angels were ministering to Him.


Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.


When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."


Now when the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.


I will no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.


And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among [the ]Gentiles, believed on in the world, [and ]was received up in glory.


Are they not all ministering spirits being sent out to minister for the sake of those who shall be heirs of salvation?


But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."
