according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.


The elders who are among you I exhort, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed;


She who is in Babylon, elect together with you, greets you; and so does Mark my son.


I did not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.


My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.


The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.


And now I ask you, lady, not as writing a new commandment to you, but one which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another.
