5 And they took strong cities and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods: cisterns made by others, vine- yards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: and they ate, and were filled, and became fat, and abounded with de- light in thy great goodness.

4 And he brought them out of darkness, and the shadow of death; and broke their bonds in sunder.


3 Set before me for a law the way of thy justifications, O Lord: and I will always seek after it.

04 By thy commandments I have had understanding: therefore have I hated every way of iniquity.

In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.


7 The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.


5 My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.


7 There is Benjamin a youth, in ecstasy of mind. The princes of Juda are their leaders: the princes of Zabulon, the princes of Nephthali.


Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.


0 For thou art great and dost wonderful things: thou art God alone.


Thou hast put away my acquaintance far from me: they have set me an abomination to themselves. I was delivered up, and came not forth:


4 The father of the just rejoiceth greatly: he that hath begotten a wise son, shall have joy in him.


Come, eat my bread, and drink the wine which I have mingled for you.


6 And the light of the moon shall be se the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days: in the day when the Lord shall bind up the wound of his people, and shall heal the stroke of their wound.


Lo thou trustest upon this broken staff of a reed, upon Egypt: upon which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharao king or Egypt to all that trust in him.


4 Who hath given Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to robbers? hath not the Lord himself, against whom we have sinned? And they would not walk in his ways, and they have not hearkened to his law.


8 Lift up thy eyes round about, and see all these are gathered together, they are come to thee: I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt be clothed with all these se with an ornament, and as a bride thou shalt put them about thee.


Behold I have given him for a witness to the people, for a leader and a master to the Gentiles.


7 And here is hope for thy last end, saith the Lord: and the children shall return to their own borders.


5 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt I will shew him wonders.


5 And they brought unto him also infants, that he might touch them. Which when the disciples saw, they rebuked them.


Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you.


1 A woman, when she is in labour, hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but when she hath brought forth the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.


3 Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.


2 For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.


Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doth justice is just, even as he is just.


And the third part of those creatures died, which had life in the sea, and the third part of the ships was destroyed.
