1 And she began the song to them, saying: Let us sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously magnified, the horse and his rider he hath thrown into the sea.


And shall be broken. Gripings and pains shall take hold of them, they shall be in pain as a woman in labour. Every one shall be amazed at his neighbour, their countenances shall be as faces burnt.


7 All nations are before him as if they had no being at all, and are counted to him as nothing, and vanity.


5 He shall sprinkle many nations, kings shall shut their mouth at him: for they to whom it was not told of him, have seen: and they that heard not, have beheld.


5 The aged and honourable, he is the head: and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.


Then the nobles, the magistrates, and the judges, the captains, and rulers, and the great men that were placed in authority, and all the princes of the provinces, were gathered together to come to the dedication of the statue, which king Nabuchodonosor had set up. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod: and her son was taken up to God, and to his throne.
